Sun Valley got 1 inch of new snow overnight, and skies are forecast to clear as the morning progresses on Bald Mountain. A high temperature of about 20 degrees is expected.

Sunshine prevails Tuesday-Friday this week, with progressively warmer temperatures expected each afternoon. Highs will be close to 30 degrees by Thursday and Friday.

There's a 30-40 percent chance of new snow coming Friday night/Saturday, so we'll keep an eye on that as the days progress.

Sun Valley Resort is operating daily on Bald Mountain with top-to-bottom skiing and riding on 98 runs, 54 of them groomed, and 12 lifts in operation. All lifts are running at Dollar Mountain as well.
