Northwest Daily Snow

First winter outlook, details in early October

There is a hint of fall in the air as days get shorter and cooler.

I will have a more detailed winter outlook coming up in early October but we have moved out of the snow reducing El Nino pattern to a neutral pattern - which is much better news for the upcoming season. Neutral is not passive or boring, but robust and more like normal for the NW. Normal means lots of snow.

Details to come, watch for Open Snow NW October update.
